Each of my works is a study in layers, symbolising the depth of richness beneath each visual story.
I use a variety of proprietary techniques to create paintings that are alive with texture and relief.
Sometimes I work with textured mediums, sculpting my subject into the medium with a chopstick - before building up layers of depth and colour with oils, and acrylics.
Other times I contrast raw canvas with expressive swirls of molding paste and collaged fabrics.
Or in some of my more “street-spirited” work, I will combine spray paints, inks and marker pens.
One thing you’ll see in a lot of my work is a signature touch of iridescence which comes from a range of specially-created metallic paints.
